There was a time when I liked to cook the ENTIRE meal at a holiday or special occassion so that I could get all of the glory.  HOW FOOLISH!  One can wear themselves out trying to do everything on their own. Once the dinner is over, and the guests are gone, it isn’t who cooked the meal that is remembered.  It is the joy of time spent together.
With that in mind, I would like to thank those who have been a part of getting ALME started.

To my husband:
Who has patiently endured as I said “I just know this is what I am supposed to be doing right now”.  For his hard work which has allowed me to stay home and work on ALME.
For taking the picture of the sunset and seagull while we were staying on the East Coast.  It is a beautiful part of this site!

To our kids:
Who have provided encouragement along the way.
They have proof read and made suggestions and edited pages.
To our daughter who saw the picture choice on this page and asked if I like to cook penguins!
To our son who repeatedly allowed me to take “one more picture” of his hands for the logo without complaining.
Special thanks to our son-in-law, whose idea it was to put ALME’s writings on a web-site.  I would never have thought of it myself.

To My Mom:
Who has been my number one proof reader, encourager and listener.

To Brian:
For his creative ideas and limitless patience with someone who knew nothing about developing a web-site.

To Cheryl Ennis:
Who has a gift for photography and has shared her gift with ALME. (you will find her name under her pictures!)

The team who agreed to help work out the catches in ALME.  For their proof-reading, feedback and encouragement.   Special thanks to Nell, Tina and Fran.

To My Cousin Mark:
Whose prayers I covet.  He prays regularly for me and the site.  His righteous prayers availeth much! (James 5:16)

To The Gals At Bible Study:
Who week after week heard me request their prayers for  ALME.  For their doing so.

To Tami:
The first person to give ALME a donation!

To Robin:
One who is always there when I need a “reality check”.

To Our Guest of Honor: the One Whom Truly Deserves the Glory:
For it is He who gives us our very breath.  Who created the heavens and the earth and the stars.  It is He who made the mountains, and the sea and the sky.  It is He who reached down and put His hand upon this site.  It is He, who loves us and wants us to know Him even more.

Psalm 146:5,6
But happy are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God. 6 He is the one who made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them.  He is the one who keeps every promise forever, (NLT)
