And David said to Solomon his son; Be strong and of good courage and do it: fear not nor be dismayed: for the LORD God even my God will be with thee; he will not fail thee nor forsake thee until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
When God calls us to work for the good of His kingdom we need not be afraid. No matter how big the job, if He has called us to it He will remain with us until it is finished. He will not fail nor forsake us.
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name.
Lord, we enter the very courts of heaven and bless You with hearts of praise.
They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strength that gave them victory. It was by your mighty power that they succeeded; it was because you favored them and smiled on them.
Life requires more strength than we have in ourselves. We need God’s Mighty Power. May we walk in the presence of His Favor.
… Now wherever we go he uses us to tell others about the Lord and to spread the Good News like a sweet perfume.
We are like the fragrance of a sweet perfume when others hear what the Lord has done in our lives.
Watch and pray that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak.
We pray Lord, that You would help us, that our spirit may be stronger than our flesh.
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you saith the LORD; thoughts of peace and not of evil to give you an expected end.
Gods thoughts toward you are thoughts of peace. He has good things planned for your life!
These trials are only to test your faith to show that it is strong and pure. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold – and your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold… … .
As we walk through the heat of firey trials our impurities are brought to the surface. It is there that the Lord can skim them off, resulting in a stronger faith.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Love to talk? Be aware. We will eat the fruit our words produce.
But thou O LORD art a shield for me; my glory and the lifter up of mine head
God is your glory. When you are tired, weary, or fighting a battle, He is the lifter of your head.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
We can trust God to take even the most difficult circumstances and cause them to work for our own good.
