This week I am following up on last week’s post regarding the Ladies’ Conference I attended. It was amazing! Full of music and dance, with one of my very favorite singers leading the worship. (I chuckle when I remember hiding in the bathroom many years ago because I was uncomfortable with so many songs!) There was time spent with other women who like to give hugs. There was wisdom and nuggets, and deep truths upon which to ponder. There was even chocolate at the door! I was privileged to share our cards, photography and creations that are meant to inspire and encourage, so there was an ALME table out in the hall.
It was a wonderful and refreshing time.
Driving to the ranch house when the conference was over, I reflected on what had taken place. Words spoken by one woman kept playing over and over in my mind. “You have felt like you have been left on your own, but you are not alone.” In the midst of the multitude of blessings, the wonderful people and interactions, what touched me the most was the reminder. I am not alone!
This complicated world can leave us feeling isolated and abandoned, but that simply is not true. This week I would like for you to remember; you are not alone too.
When you are driving in the car, Jesus is with you, no matter where you are going.
When you are arguing with your spouse or children or parents or friends, He is there watching. He loves each one of you, no matter who is wrong or who is right.
When you feel all alone in a crowded room, He is standing beside you, covering you with His peace.
When you are doing things that you would rather keep hidden, He does not leave you. He stands ready to help. He loves you just the same.
Jesus will not leave us alone in our deepest sorrows, nor in our greatest joy. He is watching over us when we struggle. He is cheering us on to our victory. He is with us when we remember Him. He is ever so close when we do not. He is true to His Word in the Bible. He will be with us until the end of the age.
Mathew 28:20 … lo, I am with you alway, [even] unto the end of the world. Amen.
Hebrews 13:5 … for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Deuteronomy 31:8 – And the LORD, he [it is] that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.
Isaiah 43:2 – When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
